Discovery (Pro) Case

Go Professional Cases is doing themselves a great disservice by not updating this product's page. After exchanging emails with one of their salespeople, I bought this case for my TBS Discovery Pro: The Pro, with the gimbal and camera mount. The photo of the case is inaccurate. The foam us custom cut to fit the Discovery Pro, gimbal and all. This isn't carry on luggage, but it is quite manageable. I bought it for car travel, which is most of the time, and as checked luggage. I wanted a place to store everything. It does that well. I also found that I can store the Pro with 10" rotors attached to the rear arms. That makes life easier. From Amazon I added a Pelican 1609 lid organizer with nylon fabric and mesh compartments. (Attach with double stick Velcro.) Now there is room to spare. The storage space under the quad is big enough to stow a spare DJI arm, Fat Shark cables, and two 2.4Ghz Mad Mushroom antennae. It really does hold everything. I'm quite pleased with the design and function. It is well worth the up charge from a generic Pelican-style case. They definitely added value. And it is easy to modify the storage areas with my wife's sharpest, serrated tomato knife. My only criticism is that there are too many little GoPro back and battery storage slots. You can easily widen and deepen them as needed though, with a finely serrated knife. Altogether this is a great Discovery PRO case.
